Balade ferme-auberge Glasborn : Un chemin chargé d'histoire

The former summer farm of Glasborn, owned by the Didierjean family since 1979, is in constant evolution. Alain, at the helm since 1995, always has
always has projects. He is supported by his wife Corinne and his two daughters Carole and Laura. After a renovation of the room in 2019, it is a small museum of
of local agriculture. The Glasborn farm has 70 hectares of meadows and moors, 15 hectares of which are used for mowing. The Londenbach farm, where the herd is kept in winter, has 15 hectares of meadows. The herd consists of 22 dairy cows and 30 heifers of the Vosges breed. The milk is transformed into Munster cheese and Bargkass. About thirty pigs are fattened with the whey and transformed on the spot. The marcaire meal, with its Roïgebrageldis cooked directly on a wood stove, is always a success. Some Alsatian specialities and home-made sausages are also served, not forgetting the famous Siesskass.
