Balade ferme-auberge Gaschney : S'en mettre plein les yeux

This old farm was acquired by Claude's parents in 1977. Men and animals live there year round since 1995. Taken over by Mariette and Claude in 2001, the inn has benefited from several renovations, the last one in 2015 with the wood from the old barn in Munster. Today, their daughter Claire has joined them in the adventure. The Gaschney farm has 30 hectares of moorland and highland meadows, including 5 hectares of meadows that are mowed. There are still 15 hectares of hay meadows in Munster, the former wintering place. A dozen dairy cows of the Vosges breed make up the herd, as well as a dozen heifers. The milk is transformed into Munster cheese and Bargkass. Some calves are raised for the inn. In addition to the marcaire meal, roast veal or beef dishes and stews are served with the famous roïgebrageldis. For dessert, siesskass and seasonal fruit pies are popular.
